My name is Brittany Jarvis. I am half Scottish, half Canadian and I live in England with my partner and our ten animals, majority of whom are cats (my familiars). I have had a strong connection to Paganism/Mysticism/Spirituality all my life. I especially have a love for all strong feminine characters real or fictional. From the amazing Thecla whose story was left out of the bible to the Mysterious Elizabeth Bathory; the countess of blood. Good or Bad, a strong woman from a past were women were suppressed should be recognised. I have studied art, which in a way ruined my passion for it. After many years of not picking up a pencil, I had the urge to express my feeling towards my love and passion of different religions and the women who were a part of them. Art and religion are beautiful human creations but they do have the power to hurt and cause anger. If we respect both we can see the beauty and learn from all of it.
